Open space. Brick, paving and light

The Courtyard is over 40,000 m² of continuous, uninterrupted space located in the central part of the Tichauer site. Its boundaries are defined by the former brewery buildings – the Malt House, the Brewhouse, the Industrial Hall and the Gallery – creating a coherent, multifunctional framework for events and everyday use.

A floor of historic cobblestones and concrete slabs absorbs sounds and leads the eye towards the historic facades. The space can host events for up to 3,000 participants: from outdoor concerts and multimedia performances to trade fairs, film screenings and automotive presentations.

Access to the technical infrastructure (connections, stage lighting, 3D mapping) is hidden in the surface and structure of the buildings. The courtyard allows flexible arrangement, independent access to all halls and direct connection to catering facilities and public transport (railway station – 450 m).

This is a space for large-scale events, but also for daily walks, strolls and pauses.
